How exciting it is to announce that Brant Christian School has been granted a National Award from the Let Them Be Kids National Action Campaign! As you can see above, our Current Playground is in need of an update. We have some very dated, old wooden equipment that must be replaced. Starting in November, our Annual Brant Christian School Charity Auction raised almost $40 000 to help us build/update our playground. Now, Let Them Be Kids has agreed to match us dollar for dollar in our effort! WOW! Praise God for His goodness!
Our sincere thanks go out to all those businesses and citizens who gave so generously from their hearts and their wallets to support our playground endeavor. God bless you all!
We are very busy planning and very soon will be making the Public Announcement of our Let Them Be Kids Award; stay tuned to this blog for further information and regular updates - it's going to be grand!

Our Fallen Hero
Fallen Hero of Brant Christian School
It is traditional for the Let Them Be Kids foundation to have their building partner dedicate their new playground to a Fallen Hero.
We are very pleased and humbled to announce that Brant Christian School is dedicating our new playground to the memory of the late Mrs. Patricia Webber.
Patricia was a stalwart servant of the Lord who dedicated much of her life of service to Brant Christian, particularly in the charity auction.
Patricia could be counted to do what needed to be done in order to ensure that BCS would survive, continue to grow and flourish. She was a good and faithful servant.
We thank all who participated in our Opening Cermony and tribute to Patricia as part of the playground build. Special thanks to Marella Brooks and Gail Groeneveld.

Calling All Volunteers!
The Playground Committee is now having weekly meetings with our LTBK coach as Build Day is quickly approaching. The countdown is on!
Our Construction Meeting proved to be very helpful and informative. We were taken through what a typical LTBK Build would look like, starting from the time the playground equipment is delivered right to our Celebration Ceremony.
We are anticipating our playground equipment to arrive the Wednesday prior to Build Day. Thank you to Paul Goertzen for being willing to come out with his skidsteer and off load the equipment upon arrival!
Inventory will then be taken to ensure all pieces are accounted for.
Thursday will prove to be full work days (8 a.m. to 5 or 6 p.m.) with Friday hoping to be only a half day. All welding and concrete work will be completed. We require 1 to 2 certified welders. Good news to report! We already have one certified welder signed on! Thank you Dave King.
In addition, we also require volunteers who are willing to help with the prep work on Thursday and Friday. Lunch will be provided! If you are available to help out in the morning, afternoon or all day, we'd love to hear from you. No special skills needed just a desire to help. Please contact Missy Henderson at: tmhconst@telus.net if you can help on the days leading up to Build Day.
More volunteers are still needed for our Saturday Build Day so please click Join The Effort button to the right and register! Our committee thanks you all!!!
