Our Desire Is To.....

Our desire is make a BIG impact, not only for our school, but more importantly for our Brant Community and beyond.

Our desire is to:

Glorify our Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ in what we say and in what we do.  We want to be a beacon of hope to the community around us.

Build Relationships.  This will be a fantastic way to make new friends and to deepen existing relationships in our community.  It's about community building!  There is something so powerful that happens when we work side by side toward a common goal. 

Create a Playground.  We are not only focussing on the replacement of the unsafe wooden structure, swings and see-saws but also on beautifying and enhancing our green space with things like a gazebo, picnic tables, flowers, shrubs, a rock garden and a mural.  We want our space to be warm and inviting to all!

Promote Active Lifestyle.  Our desire is for kids and adults alike to be excited about going outside to play.  We want to encourage families to spend more time together by having the equipment and amenities to do so.

Develop Leadership.  As we move forward toward Build Day there will be many opportunities for the kids to have their say and even take the lead.  Their voice will be heard loud and clear creating pride and ownership throughout the process.

Value Kids.  Brant kids; all kids.  All kids are so valuable, important and worthwhile.  We are doing this for  them because we believe in them and they are worth it!

So Join the Effort by donating your time, your talent or your treasure!  It will take many hands and feet to make all this happen in just one day!  That's right....we are installing a playground and beautifying our greenspace in one day!!!  It will be amazing!  You won't want to miss out!

2013 Helping Hands National Award Recipients!

Wow!  What a night!  Thank you to everyone who attended the School's Spring Concert and shared in the unveiling of our BIG Announcement!  There is a buzz in the air and we are so excited to link arms with you all and begin this journey together!  The kids' enthusiasm was awesome when they heard the news : )

Thank you to Let Them Be Kids for this award.  To know only 30 are awarded nationwide means this is quite an honour and very humbling.  It's a privilege to join the 160 other recipients who have gone before us.  Thank you for seeing the potential in our little school and believing in us.  We may be small in number but we are BIG in heart!  We will be that beacon of hope indeed!  We will make you proud that you have chosen us!

How exciting it is to announce that Brant Christian School has been granted a National Award from the Let Them Be Kids National Action Campaign! As you can see above, our Current Playground is in need of an update. We have some very dated, old wooden equipment that must be replaced. Starting in November, our Annual Brant Christian School Charity Auction raised almost $40 000 to help us build/update our playground. Now, Let Them Be Kids has agreed to match us dollar for dollar in our effort! WOW! Praise God for His goodness!

Our sincere thanks go out to all those businesses and citizens who gave so generously from their hearts and their wallets to support our playground endeavor. God bless you all!
